It has been a very busy summer for Rock Lake Baptist Church. We started off with a baptism for one of the men that had been visiting our church with his wife and as they joined the church for several months. What a privilege to welcome another new couple into our fellowship! Right away we had a wonderful VBS, Giddyup Junction, with the help of a youth group mission team from Faith Baptist Church of Davison, Michigan. It was a joy to get to know Pastor Eric and all the team members as we worked together to reach boys and girls from our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.Read more…

Why go to church?
Some people feel that church attendance is not worth the effort. “I just don’t get anything out of it” is a thought sometimes expressed.

While studying for Sunday School, I came across this quote:
